Roasted Tomato Labneh

This herby labneh dip is perfect for serving as an appetizer or part of a mezze platter

For the labneh dip:

  • 2 cups Yaza Plain Labneh
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp dried mint flakes
  • Fresh mint leaves optional
  • Chili flakes optional

For the tomato topping:

  • 10 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses Optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2

  • Place labneh in a bowl, add the dried mint and minced garlic. Mix well.

Step 3

  • Create a hole in the center and smooth well, then set aside to marinate

Step 4

  • Place the tomatoes in an oven dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper, olive oil, and pomegranate molasses (optional)

Step 5

  • Place in oven and roast for 20 minutes

Step 6

  • Remove from oven and let cool

Step 7

  • Pour roasted tomatoes and oil over the labneh and add chopped fresh mint and chili flakes (optional)
  • Serve with crudités, crackers or biscuits
