Lemony Pasta

A light and tangy dish perfect as a spring entrée or summer side

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine cooked
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Yaza Plain Labneh
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan plus more for garnish

Directions

Step 1

  • Place unsalted butter in a pan over medium high heat and allow to melt

Step 2

  • Add salt, garlic powder, black pepper and labneh

Step 3

  • Whisk well, then add the lemon juice, lemon zest, pasta water and cheese

Step 4

  • Stir in cooked pasta and mix well to coat

Step 5

  • Serve with reserved lemon zest and parmesan cheese
