  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
Toppings
  • 4 tbsp Pine Nuts
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh Mint chopped
  • 12 oz Yaza Plain Labneh

Method

  1. If you'd like to cook the meatballs in the oven, preheat it to 425F. If you'd like to pan fry the meatballs, take out a large pan.
Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Fry 4 tbsp of pine nuts in 4 tbsp of olive oil. Once toasted and golden brown, take out with a slotted spoon and put onto a paper towel-lined plate.
  2. Chop the fresh herbs (parsley and mint). Grate the onions and mince the garlic.
Make the Meatballs
  1. You can use this meatball recipe, get some store bought, or use your preferred meatball recipe.
  2. Add all the meatball ingredients together and mix. Form 1 tbsp size balls, there should be about 24. Put them onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Cook meatballs in the oven for about 15 minutes or in the pan until internal temperature reaches 160F.
Assemble the Dish
  1. Spread 12oz of Yaza Plain Labneh on a large serving plate or tray. Top with meatballs, pine nuts, and mint. Drizzle a bit of olive oil and serve!
