Karim’s Classic Labneh Board
Serves 6 (or 1 hungry Karim) | Prep Time: 15 minutes
Butter boards are so last year… it’s all about the labneh board now. Karim’s recipe is based on a classic labneh dip but instead of mixing it all up – we make it look pretty on a board! 🌿

Karim's Classic Labneh Board
This combo is peak Lebanese energy: creamy labneh, herby za’atar, sweet-tangy pomegranate molasses, plus tomato and cucumber for crunch. It’s like a Mediterranean group hug on a plate.
Ingredients
Method
Spread the Labneh
- On a large wooden board or serving platter, spoon dollops of labneh and use the back of a spoon to spread them into small circular swirls, leaving slight indentations to catch toppings.
Add the Za’atar
- Sprinkle za’atar over several of the labneh swirls, letting it naturally settle into the dips.
Drizzle the Pomegranate Molasses
- Drizzle pomegranate molasses over the remaining labneh sections. A little goes a long way — aim for scattered droplets for contrast.
Top with Fresh Veggies
- Scatter diced cucumbers and halved cherry tomatoes across the board, focusing on clusters for color and texture.
Finish
- Add a drizzle of olive oil if you like, then finish with flaky salt and freshly cracked pepper.
Serve
- Place pita chips, toasted flatbread, or crackers alongside the board and let everyone scoop as they please.
